Our Beekeeping Service Program allows you to have honey bee hives on your property without needing to manage the bees yourself.
Bee Great installs and maintains the hives, performs all inspections, and keeps you informed throughout the season.

This program is ideal for homeowners, businesses, and organizations who want the experience of beekeeping without the work.

What the service includes

  • Two managed honey bee hives placed on your property
  • All inspections and maintenance performed by Bee Great
  • Replacement of colonies if needed
  • Text updates after hive visits
  • Opportunity to observe or participate when available
  • Free attendance at Bee Great educational programs
  • Honey tasting and extraction experience at our store
  • 20 pounds of honey per year from your hives

Additional hives may be added if desired.

Cost

$250 refundable deposit
$75 per month for two hives

Additional hives are prorated.

Billing is typically monthly, but other payment schedules are available.

How signup works

Most customers contact us before ordering to discuss their property and ask questions.

After the deposit is placed, we will review the location, confirm details, and schedule installation.

Bees are delivered in May each year.

Availability is limited.

Service area

Service is generally limited to locations within 25 miles of Churubusco, Indiana.
