Just like papaw and mamaw ate!
Honeycomb brings back fond memories for David. He called his grandfather papaw, and his grandmother, mamaw. When David's family visited his grandparents in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky when he was a boy, mamaw and papaw always had a bowl of honeycomb on the breakfast table to eat with mamaw's fresh, made-from-scratch biscuits.
We only have a limited supply of honeycomb each year. You can enjoy honeycomb as you normally would any honey, and then chew the beeswax just like chewing gum, or you can swallow the wax with the honey. It's all completely edible and great for your digestive well-being.
